1. Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, UAE

WINNER:

Elina Svitolina reigned supreme at the 2018 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, defending her title from last year.

The 23-year-old defeated Russian Daria Kasatkina with a 6-4 6-0 win.  In the semifinals, Kasatkina passed over Garbine Muguruza in a three-set match, while 

Svitolina beat German Angelique Kerber in two sets. As Caroline Wozniacki did not participate in the Dubai competition, she lost her number one position to Simona Halep, who also did not paricipate due to a leg injury.

2. Hungarian Ladies Open, Budapest

FINALISTS:

WINNER:

Belgium’s Alison van Uytvanck won the second title of her career when she defeated Dominika Cibulkova for the Hungarian Open title in Budapest.

The unseeded Belgian fought through a hard-fought battle to claim her 6-3 3-6 7-5 victory over the top seeded Slovak.

"I had two tough service games in the third, and I was able to manage to get through that,  and it was getting better and better. I was getting a little bit more confident, and I just kept fighting. I’m so happy with the win."

저는 한국에 와서 처음으로 치즈 케이크가 있다는 것을 들어 봤습니다. 그때 2012년이었어요.그래서 제일 처음에 먹어 번 치즈 케이크는 한국 파리바게뜨 치즈케이크였어요.  이제 오랜만에 고향에 가 보니까 동생이랑 같이 치즈케이크를 제일 맛있게 한다고 하는 식당에 갔어요. 루마니아 클루지-나포카 도시 Marty 레스토랑입니다. 

유감스럽게도 제가 좋아하는 맛이 아니었어요.위에 잼과 카라멜 때문에 치즈 맛이 잘 안 느껴지고 다 심하게 달았어요. 루마니아 사람들이 원래 이렇게 달게 먹었나요? 기억 안 나네요 ㅎㅎ

1년 전에 라스베가스 갔을 때 '더 치즈 팩토리'라는 빵집? 케이크집? (ㅎㅎㅎㅎ) 가봤어요. 이거는 제일 맛있는 치즈 케이크로 유명하다고 하는데 저는 개인적으로 별로였어요.  제가 단 맛을 잘 못 먹는 것 같아요 ㅎㅎㅎ

Seed No 1 Caroline Wozniacky was defeated by Petra Kvitova in the semifinals. Seed No 2 Simona Halep was scheduled to play Garbine Muguruza in the semis, but she withdrew before the match due to an older unhealed ankle injury.
