ABOUT


The Jiangxi International Women's Tennis Open is a tournament for professional female tennis players played on outdoor hard courts. The event is held at the Nanchang Tennis Center in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, China. It is also part of the China Open Series. The best performance of Chinese players in women's singles will receive a wild card from the China OpenFor the first two years, this was a WTA 125K series level tournament. However, beginning in 2016, it became one of the main WTA Tourlevel tournaments under the International classification.

The 2018 Wimbledon Championships is a Grand Slam tennis tournament which is currently taking place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom. The main tournament began on Monday 2 July 2018 and is due to finish on Sunday 15 July 2018.

The 2018 tournament is the 132nd edition of The Championships, the 125th staging of the Ladies’ Singles Championship event, the 51st in the Open Era and the third Grand Slam tournament of the year. It is being played on grass courts and is part of the ATP World Tour, the WTA Tour, the ITF Junior tour and the NEC Tour. The tournament is organised by All England Lawn Tennis Club and International Tennis Federation.



Roger Federer, the defending champion in the Gentlemen's singles, has won the event a record eight times in his career. Garbiñe Muguruza was the defending champion in the Ladies' singles, but lost in the second round to Alison van Uytvanck.
